Delivery & Shipping
Delivery Information
Last updated: 23 May 2026
Every MacMaster product is handcrafted to order, so delivery follows production rather than being held in stock. This page explains how long your order will take to make, what delivery costs to expect, and what to do when it arrives.
1. Production lead times
Lead times are measured from the date we receive cleared payment for your order, not the date the order is placed. Because production cannot begin until payment is received, please let us know as soon as you have sent it so we can start work without delay.
- Pendant lights and table lights: 4 to 8 weeks.
- Furniture and floor lights: 6 to 12 weeks.
These timings are an indicative guide. Factors such as show seasons, public holidays, the availability of specialist materials and shipping conditions can occasionally lengthen lead times. If anything affects the dispatch date of your order, we will keep you informed.
2. Where we deliver
We deliver across the UK mainland as standard. Deliveries to the Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and international addresses can usually be arranged on request. Please contact us before ordering for a tailored shipping quotation.
3. Delivery charges
Standard UK mainland delivery charges are based on the product and reflect the size, weight and care needed to ship each piece. As an indicative guide:
- Smaller lighting items (mini and small pendants, wall lights, vases, tea light holders) from £5.
- Standard lighting and table lamps – typically £10 to £15.
- Floor lights and Eclipse pendants – typically £25 to £40.
- Coffee tables, console tables and side tables – typically £35 to £65.
- Dining tables and wine cabinets – £100.
The exact delivery charge for your order is shown on your quotation and invoice. Delivery costs may be reduced for larger orders. Please ask for a tailored quotation.
4. How we ship
Smaller items are sent by a tracked, insured courier service. Larger and more delicate pieces such as floor lights, dining tables and wine cabinets are shipped via specialist carriers using protective crating where appropriate. We will let you know when your order has been dispatched and provide tracking details where available.
5. Receiving your order
Most deliveries require a signature, so please make sure someone is available at the delivery address. The carrier will normally contact you in advance to agree on a date. If you cannot be in, please let us know early so we can arrange an alternative storage and re-delivery charges may apply if the carrier is unable to deliver on the agreed day.
When the order arrives, please inspect it carefully before signing. If anything is visibly damaged, note the damage on the carrier’s paperwork and let us know straight away.
6. Damage on receipt
If any item is received damaged, you must notify us in writing within 2 working days of delivery. Outside that window, we are unable to claim on the carrier’s insurance, which means a replacement or refund may not be possible. Please keep all the original packaging and provide photographs of the damage where you can. Full details are set out in our Returns and Refunds page.
7. Cord sets and bulbs
A cord set is supplied with every lighting product. If you would like LED bulbs included, we can provide them at cost price: £7.00 for all mini versions and wall lights, and £10.00 for all other lighting products. Please ask at the time of ordering.
8. Installation
Standard delivery is to your door or other agreed ground-floor delivery point. We do not provide installation or electrical fitting. Pendant and wall lights should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK wiring regulations.
9. Trade and project deliveries
For trade orders and larger projects, we are happy to coordinate phased deliveries, site deliveries and consolidated shipments. Please discuss your requirements with us at the quotation stage so we can build the right delivery plan into your project timeline.
